Care Instructions for Puppies

Keep warm at all times-the smaller they are the more they need constant care.

  1. Don`t take pup anywhere they can pick up a disease from the ground or someones home that has other dogs around. You can kill your puppy by allowing your new pup to be around other dogs.

  2. Keep dry food(High Quality-NO Corn) and water available to your new pup 24/7-Can feed Pedigree Pouch Ground Puppy food 2 times per day-1 pack should last you 2 days. Royal Canin or Eukanuba Baby Pup Dry food.

  3. Purchase crate for training, Puppy bed, chew toys-PeePee pads, & Blankets. Can purchase smoked bones from butcher shop and have them cut them up small-helps keep teeth healthy. NO RAWHIDE!!!

  4. CALL ME FIRST before you call your vet as I can help with general health issues-Save you money!! I do not cover any vet bills you may have after you take puppy home. I help with advise prior to vet visit-I may be able to give you certain meds to help with Worms, Cocci or Giardia so you dont get stuck paying the vet huge amounts of $$$$$.

  5. Purchase Great Flea Medication and dont use the whole tube on the small little ones-call me for help prior to treating or talk with your vet. Use only Frontline or Revolution!!!! Over the counter flea meds dont work your just wasting your money.

  6. Get your puppy fixed and microchipped as soon as you can.Puppy health insurance is available and is a great thing to do to help you save money if your pup gets sick or breaks a leg.
